Believe!

This card is one of the best I have made for Christmas.  It’s very simple but looks lovely.

For the desert scene I tried to do it from ‘scratch’ with using a piece of paper which I torn to make waves and then adding ink to create mountains.  But I wasn't happy with results it made.  So I found landscape scenes from Katy Sue Designs ‘Card Creators – Lunar and scenic Landscapes’  which worked really well. (see picture of the product)

I mounted the scene onto black card leaving 5mm border and mounted this onto a white A6 card blank.

With the shape which are in the kit I cut out stuck masking tape on back for a temporary adhesive placed it on the landscape scene and stamped the Nativity Scene (‘Peace at Christmas’ from Clarity Stamps) in Black ink then I unstuck the shape mounted on to black card and added foam pads to give it dimension.

I also used the star topper which is in the kit and layered it onto black card leaving a border, the word ‘Believe’ just fitted nicely with the theme of the card.

For the insert I stamped ‘Hope was Born’ from Penny Black in black ink.

As the kit gives many different colours and design of the scene I made more. Here are the pictures of them below.
